**Liverpool are acting like Premier League champions as they go about their transfer plans for the summer with authority.**
As things stand, it’s confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold, Caoimhin Kelleher, Kostas Tsimikas and Darwin Nunez will leave the club this summer while more outgoings could happen.
Joe Gomez, Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott are all likely to be thinking hard about their future while Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz are increasingly linked with exits.
And if Ibrahima Konate doesn’t commit to a new contract soon, Liverpool may feel it’s prudent to sell before his contract enters its final year when the 2025/26 season starts in August.
Arne Slot makes “extra weapons” comment as Liverpool transfer acitivity increases dramatically
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool officially went from planning their summer transfers to acting on them in the last week as a deal was wrapped up for Jeremie Frimpong while his teammate and talisman Florian Wirtz is also the subject of Liverpool talks.

Meanwhile, Milos Kerkez is also nearing a move to Anfield with Slot clearly keen to get his transfers out of the way as soon as possible to maximise the pre-season period.
Now, speaking about Liverpool’s transfer ambitions, the Dutchman says he hopes to “find one or two extra weapons” his side doesn’t currently have.
_“If I look at the way we think about next season and our squad,”_ Slot said _“These are things that are on my mind. I think we can find one or two extra weapons that this team doesn’t have. Maybe, maybe by using the transfer market._
_“That is what we are trying to achieve. That will only make us stronger. That is what we need because we saw City spending £200m in the transfer window. All of them will. Apart from the transfer window, we can also improve certain aspects ourselves._
_“I think (evolving the team) happened already with us in the second half of the season. Teams got to know us even better or tried to find answers to our playing style.”_
