Everton are now just one game away from their summer break following the Goodison Park Finale.
David Moyes has done a lot of good since he returned to Merseyside, but ending their time at the Old Lady with three points has to be up there for the Scot.
The Toffees face a huge summer ahead of them with plenty of work going into preparing for the transfer window away from the pitch.
Angus Kinnear has insisted a huge summer awaits Everton in what will be The Friedkin Group’s first summer window in charge.
Fortunately, Everton are going into the summer knowing they have a solid manager who has taken the club forward since returning in January.
The Friedkins have certainly shown their ambition on Merseyside ahead of the summer and they continue to do so even away from Everton as they have now struck an agreement with Jurgen Klopp.

Jurgen Klopp green-lights The Friedkin Group offer
Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was hurt by his final Merseyside Derby as Everton denied him victory at Goodison Park.
However, he may now be closing in on a new role under the Friedkins ahead of the new season.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to La Stampa, Klopp has given the green light to the Friedkins to become the new AS Roma manager.
It has only been one year since the German departed Everton’s Merseyside rivals as he sought a break from football.
However, it seems as if the 57-year-old is now ready to return and work under the current Everton owners.
Of course, Klopp would not have any real affiliation with Everton as such, but it may surprise some Liverpool fans to see him potentially working under their owners.
Arne Slot praised Everton earlier in the season and now the Reds will possibly have to watch Klopp work for the Everton owners in a shock turn of events.
What Klopp said Everton did that was ‘insane’
Klopp had his fair share of Merseyside Derby victories during his time at the club, but he did offer some praise in recent years to the Blues.
“We controlled a lot of moments but you cannot control everything because the set pieces that they have are insane,” he said in 2023.
“That’s the biggest difference from the last game, is that the first chance of the opponent is not in, it hit the post.”
Everton faced Roma in a pre-season friendly last summer ahead of the takeover being approved in December.
It would be no surprise to see this fixture become a regular occurrence in pre-season which may now bring about a return to Merseyside for Klopp.
