Liverpool are looking to offload Darwin Nunez this summer and while his form in the Premier League has been poor, there is still plenty of interest in the Uruguayan.
Like many Liverpool supporters, I am more disappointed in than frustrated with Nunez. Last season, Nunez had 33 goals and assists and many fans were still on the fence.
This season, granted he has played over 1,000 minutes fewer, his seven goals and seven assists have done little to convince that his long-term future lies at Anfield.

According to Calciomercato, Napoli are trying to sign Jonathan David from Lille but with the possibility that deal will fall through in mind, the Italian outfit is also looking at Darwin Nunez.
Sporting director Giovanni Manna has reportedly been in contact with Nunez and his agents a number of times as they explore what it would take to bring the 25-year-old to Serie A.
The report states that “in the last few days, Manna has had more than one contact with Nunez’s agents.”
They go onto say that the Liverpool decision to sell Nunez has already been made – it is now a case of where the striker will go in the summer not if.
While Napoli are a strong option for Nunez, “the offers from Saudi Arabia are decidedly superior” which will make the player’s decision quite interesting.
