All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Tottenham as they prepare for their Europa League final.

The Europa League has been a clear priority for Tottenham for some time, and the same can be said of United, who have had an equally disappointing campaign. It’s unusual for two struggling teams to find themselves in the final of a European competition, but the Europa League has proven to be both an escape and a lifeline for these two teams.

It’s going to be a tough final to call, and as Tottenham prepare for kick-off, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the North London club.

Glasner links

Tottenham have been linked with a move for Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner over recent days, with the Austrian leading the Eagles to FA Cup glory. With Postecoglou under serious, Spurs must consider potential options, seemingly undecided over the future of their Australian boss.

On one hand, Tottenham have had a disastrous Premier League campaign, but on the other, should they win the Europa League final on Wednesday night, the North London club will have achieved their pre-season goal of securing Champions League qualification. It’s unclear whether even success in Bilbao will save Postecoglou, but reports have suggested that Spurs are doing their homework on potential options.

Glasner has been mooted as a potential option, but Football Insider say Palace are ‘confident’ about the prospect of Glasner penning a new deal. That should come as no surprise after what Glasner has managed at Palace, winning the club’s first-ever major trophy and securing Europa League football for next season - football Tottenham may yet go without.

Europa League final kits

We already know which kits the two teams will wear in Bilbao. United’s official website confirmed: “We can reveal Ruben Amorim’s side are due to wear our red shirts, with black shorts and black socks. Our starting goalkeeper is set to wear all green. Spurs, who are the designated home team, have confirmed that they will wear their traditional white jerseys, along with matching white shorts and socks.”

Solomon latest

Tottenham’s out on loan winger Manor Solomon faces an uncertain future amid likely interest from loan club Leeds United over a permanent deal. Speaking to Le 10 Sport, Solomon’s agent Shlomi Ben Ezra, said: “It’s difficult to play in another league when you’ve had a taste of the Premier League. Manor is having a great time at Leeds, but he’s under contract with Spurs.

“He likes the Premier League, but in football, you never know… It all depends on what Daniel Levy wants to do.” Tottenham have the chance to make a pure profit on Solomon, but Postecoglou - or whoever is in charge - may well want to get a look at the attacker before next season.
