Liverpool FC star Dominik Szoboszlai was flooded with messages of support as he revealed his wife is pregnant. The 24-year-old has been a vital cog for Arne Slot's side this season as the Reds claimed their 20th league title.

The Hungarian started in midfield last night for the team's final away game of the season. Szoboszlai capped off an energetic performance with a goal to put the Reds 2 - 1 in front on the stroke of half time.

He was substituted on the 64th minute before the Reds surrendered their lead to eventually lose 3 - 2. After the game, the midfielder admitted the goal was initially intended as a cross, but he was delighted to see it hit the back of the net.

Szoboszlai celebrated his goal by sharing some incredible family news as he placed the ball under his shirt. Away from the pitch, he is happily married to Borka Buzsik.

The two tied the knot in March and they are now preparing to become a family of three. The official Liverpool FC account reshared a snap of Szoboszlai's celebration after the game to congratulate the midfielder.

The post said: "Congratulations to Dom and his wife." Borka was the first to comment as she shared a heart emoji. The couple issued a joint post on Instagram to share a series of snaps as Borka showed off her blossoming baby bump.

Szoboszlai said: "3 of us." The player was inundated with messages of support from his teammates as Ryan Gravenberch shared a heart emoji in response.

The post was liked by Luis Diaz, Alisson Becker's wife Natalia, and Alexis Mac Allister's partner Ailén Cova. Szoboszlai isn't the only LFC midfielder to be starting a family while in a red shirt.

Mac Allister also announced earlier this year that Ailen is pregnant with their first child. They shared a short clip of their pregnancy journey as Ailén said: "we wish and love you with all our heart. See you soon little one."

Federico Chiesa's wife, Lucy Bramani took to the comments and said: "I’m so happy for you. Can’t wait." Curtis Jones' partner Saffie Khan said: "Congratulations." Jones and Saffie welcomed their first child into the world last year when Giselle Delilah Jones was born last October.

It is set to be a big weekend for the Liverpool FC squad as they prepare to lift the league title in front of fans for the first time in 35 years.

The Reds will cap off Arne Slot's incredible maiden season with a trophy presentation after their game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
