While Manchester United's capabilities in the transfer market this summer are likely to be decided by the result of Wednesday's Europa League final against Spurs, it has not stopped the club from making some early moves to add to the squad ahead of the opening of the window.
It has been reported that United are close to sealing a deal for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, with the Brazil international set to seal a £65million switch to Old Trafford over the coming weeks.
He is not the only player that has been heavily linked with a move to the club. Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap is another name said to be high on the Manchester United list of priorities, with the 22-year old having a £30million release clause in his contract on the back of his team's relegation.
Delap, who is the son of former Ireland international Rory, certainly looks like one of the most exciting forward prospects in the Premier League at the moment. He was massively impressive during his lone campaign at Portman Road, bagging 12 goals despite featuring in a struggling side.
That form has unsurprisingly drawn the interest of some big clubs, with Manchester United said to be leading the chase for his signature.

Carragher Sends Warning To Liam Delap Over Manchester United Move
Liam Delap has been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Everton along with Manchester United, although some feel he would be better off avoiding a move to Old Trafford.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher suggested that Delap would be better served moving to a club that would give him more time to develop, as opposed to joining a major club where he would immediately be placed under heavy scrutiny.
"I don't think Delap should go to Man Utd!" 👀@carra23 doesn't think Ipswich striker Liam Delap should make the move to Old Trafford this summer... 😬 pic.twitter.com/04X8qEsmtK

I don't think Delap should go to Manchester United.
With what happened with [Rasmus] Hojlund, I just think... You're going from a team that's been relegated, I know Manchester United are 16th, but Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world with the eyes and ears (on you).
I just think that's such a big step. I know people will say it's only from there to there in terms of league position, but Man United are a monster...
I just think that the next step of like Everton or somewhere, where you know you're going to play every week and you're going to be the main man, you're going to feel like the best player in the team.
He was the best man in the team at Ipswich, everything went through him. Go to another club where you're like that for two years and then go to Man United or whatever, a team who are in the Champions League or going to compete for that sort of level.
Manchester United has been somewhat of a graveyard for talented young players in recent times, with the likes of Rasmus Hojlund, Jadon Sancho, and Joshua Zirkzee all faltering after joining the club.
As a result of that trend, Gary Neville believes that Delap would be right to have concerns about a potential transfer to Ruben Amorim's side.

We're right to express caution in terms of what is happen at Man United. You need to be resilient, you need to be ready.
I hope that he can go in there and get off to a good start and have a great career there if that's the move that happens.
We are right to think about what has happened to other players.
Manchester United are likely to carry out a major overhaul of their playing squad this summer, both in terms of incomings and departures.
Time will tell as to whether Liam Delap will opt to be part of that process.
