Newcastle United know what they must do to sign Bryan Mbeumo.
With the summer transfer window looming, Newcastle United’s rivals are already starting to make moves.
Newcastle are set to miss out on Matheus Cunha to Manchester United, with Ruben Amorim’s side on the brink of signing the Brazil international.
As the Magpies miss out on one attacker, it puts more pressure on their interest in another.

How much Newcastle United could sign Bryan Mbeumo for
Newcastle’s summer transfer budget could be as much as £150million, and around a third of it will be required to sign Mbeumo from Brentford.
That is according to the Chronicle, who report that a fee of £54million could be enough to strike a deal for the 25-year-old attacker.
The Chronicle add that ‘those close to the deal’ believe that Mbeumo will sign for the club that wants him the most.

Manchester United are targeting Mbeumo too, as Newcastle prepare to make their pitch for the Brentford talisman.
It should be easy for Toon officials to make a move to Newcastle United as appealing as possible for Mbeumo. They are on the brink of being able to offer Champions League football, while it is a club where players achieve their potential.
Mbeumo is already special, but he could go to another level courtesy of Eddie Howe’s coaching.
Bryan Mbeumo’s price tag changes
A fee of £54million would make Mbeumo one of Newcastle’s most expensive signings ever. It would put him third, below Sandro Tonali (£55million) and Alexander Isak (£63million).
While it would take a huge chunk out of Newcastle’s summer budget, it is slightly cheaper than initially expected.
It has previously been reported that Brentford want at least £60million for Mbeumo.
If the Magpies can get him for less than that amount, it will mean they have more money to spend elsewhere.
