He may not have received the same amount of plaudits as many of his peers, but Ireland defender Nathan Collins has quietly put together one of the most impressive individual campaigns in the Premier League this season.
Touted as a top prospect since the time he first broke through at Stoke City, the Kildare man has had a very interesting career up to this point. Having joined Burnley in the summer of 2021, he would go on to break the Irish transfer record in successive summers with moves to Wolves and Brentford respectively.
It is at Brentford that Nathan Collins has finally put down some more permanent roots. He was an important player at the club last season, although he did suffer some rough patches during his debut campaign at the Gtech Community Stadium.
However, he has brought his game to a new level since the beginning of the current campaign. The 24-year old has been in stellar form at the heart of the Brentford of defence, something that has been rewarded with an impressive Premier League record.

Nathan Collins In Possession Of Impressive Premier League Record
Nathan Collins has been a pillar of consistency this season, so much so that he is now in sole possession of an impressive Premier League record.
The Irishman is now the only outfield player to play every single minute of the Premier League campaign, having featured in the full 90 minutes in each of Brentford's 37 league fixtures up to this point.
Prior to last night, Collins shared the record with Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk. However, the Dutchman was rested for his side's 3-2 defeat at Brighton, meaning the Brentford star is the only outfield player that has been an ever-present this season.
Four goalkeepers also meet this criteria, with David Raya (Arsenal), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Bernd Leno (Fulham), and Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest) also ever-presents for their clubs. The likes of Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Max Kilman (West Ham), and Moises Caicedo (Chelsea) have featured in all 37 games, although they have all been substituted at some point.
Nathan Collins will have the opportunity to complete the set of all 38 fixtures when Brentford take on Wolves this weekend, with the club still in with an outside chance of securing European football for next season should they emerge victorious at Molineux.
