Everton bid farewell to Goodison Park over the weekend with their victory over Southampton.
The Toffees could not have asked for a better fixture to part ways with their historic ground.
David Moyes managed to get his side back to winning ways on home soil on Sunday with the celebrations thankfully not hindered by the result.
Following the full-time whistle, Everton celebrated their club legends with laps of honour or players who played a real part in their history.
Goodison Park got the send-off it deserved with everything falling into place on Sunday against the Saints.
However, there were some faces not present despite having an involvement in Everton’s history, which did not sit right with Simon Jordan.

Simon Jordan calls out Everton fans after Goodison Park Finale
Premier League chief Richard Masters made an unexpected visit to Goodison Park on Sunday.
A host of Everton legends were also in attendance including the controversial figure Graeme Sharp.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
However, speaking on TalkSPORT, Jordan presumed Sharp was not in attendance following his previous run-ins with the Everton fans and he vented his frustrations over this.
“A chairman who I think should be held in good stead, Bill Kenwright, who was vilified by sections of the fanbase,” he said.
“I imagine Graeme Sharp probably wasn’t there [on Sunday] which is a sad thing because he was an Everton hero and he probably couldn’t go.”
Moyes welcomed Sharp back to Goodison Park with an open invitation for the former Everton player and chief.
Sharp was in attendance for the game against Ipswich Town and he accepted the invite to the final game at the Old Lady, leaving Jordan with egg on his face.
Graeme Sharp spotted at Goodison Park Finale
Perhaps Jordan should have done his research before he spoke as the footage was there for all to see.
Sharp was spotted in the stands sitting alongside the likes of Wayne Rooney as he bid farewell to the historic home of the Blues.
Jordan has recently slammed Jarrad Branthwaite over the speculation of a potential move away from Everton this summer.
Everton have a big summer ahead of them and their finances are not expected to be an issue as they were under Farhad Moshiri.
The mood among Everton fans will be high going into the final game of the season, but there will certainly be a few frustrated fans following Jordan’s false claim.
