Crystal Palace star Daniel Muñoz has revealed he told Erling Haaland that Omar Marmoush was going to miss his penalty in the FA Cup final.

Manchester City were handed the chance to get back into the FA Cup final from the spot after Tyrick Mitchell had brought down Bernardo Silva.
It initially appeared that Haaland would be the one to take the spot kick as he picked up the ball and prepared while the referee and VAR checked their decision.
However, the Norwegian striker instead handed the ball over to Marmoush, surprising everyone watching and raising questions about what had gone on.
Those questions only increased when Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson guessed correctly and denied the Egyptian.
That was the first penalty he’s taken for his new club, but he had scored his previous seven for Eintracht Frankfurt. Haaland, meanwhile, has scored four from the spot for Manchester City this season but also missed three.
Henderson later admitted he was confident he would save the spot kick, and it seems his teammate was equally unconvinced by the Manchester City striker beforehand.
_“I asked him why he didn’t take the penalty, since he was the team’s top scorer,”_ Muñoz said about Haaland.
_“And he told me that his teammate was also a good kicker. So, I told him, ‘If you don’t take the penalty, he’ll miss.’ And he missed.”_
