There’s a claim in the Turkish media that West Ham United are looking to move for Galatasaray attacker Baris Alper Yilmaz ahead of the summer window.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Hammers over the past 12 months, along with other Premier League teams.
Haber Sarikirmizi have covered comments made by Sezgin Almaz, when he was speaking about the future of the Turkey international.
The Turkish journalist said West Ham have made an approach for Yilmaz as the English club look sign the winger ahead of next season. He went on to say Gala would consider selling, but only for the right price.
“Baris Alper Yilmaz’s transfer to West Ham is on the table. Galatasaray expects €30-35m from the sale of Baris Alper Yilmaz,” said Almaz.
Earlier this month we covered reports from the Turkish press that West Ham are still interested in the player following their attempts to sign him last summer. Aston Villa are also said to be monitoring the situation with him, with Nottingham Forest popping in a few reports too.
Yilmaz has made 29 league appearances for Gala this season, scoring 11 goals. He’s contracted to the Super Lig leaders until June 2027, but it seems Cimbom could look to cash in on him this summer.
