The champions' post-title tour continued on Monday night as Liverpool slipped to a second defeat in three, this time losing 3-2 at Brighton & Hove Albion.
After Harvey Elliott had given the visitors the lead, Dominik Szoboszlai made it 2-1 on the cusp of half time after Yasin Ayari had levelled for the Seagulls. After the break, Kaoru Mtioma made it 2-2 before Jack Hinshelwood grabbed a late winner.
That wasn't enough to halt the party in the away end, though, as the travelling Kop celebrated long into the night at the Amex Stadium, clearly keen to soak up every minute as champions of England.

But you knew all of that, of course. What you might have missed, however, were a series of interesting 'moments missed'. Here, the ECHO rounds up the best unseen action from the south coast.
Konate offers his apologies
The Liverpool team were on the end of some gentle booing from the home fans as they made their reemergence to start the second-half. As the players were ordered to round up in a circle and begin their warm-ups before the game got going once more, Brighton's team could be seen getting into formation as the got ready to restart with the kick-off.
But as the home players waited for their visitors to conclude their exercises, the fans grew impatient and were eventually made to boo the Reds in a message that told them to hurry it up.
Unrepentant, the Liverpool team continued with their routines before Ibrahima Konate was forced to offer a belated and somewhat theatrical apology to the Brighton fans who just wanted to get the second half underway.
Out earlier next time, lads?
Friends reunited
It was something of a Liverpool reunion in the Brighton tunnel after the game as James Milner was on hand to embrace a number of his former colleagues including a handful of staff members of the media department and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Reds' vice captain was not involved on the night but he could be seen catching up with the man who held that title at Anfield before him in Milner, as they chatted away in front of reporters. A beaming Alexander-Arnold was clearly delighted to see his old colleague as they perhaps spent a minute or two reminiscing on past glories under Jurgen Klopp.
It was unclear what the gist of the conversation was but it was clear how much regard Milner remains held in by people at Liverpool as they lined up to say hello to the man who won it all at Anfield following his move from Manchester City 10 years ago.

Szoboszlai out of his seat
As Liverpool searched for a third goal on the night, Luis Diaz was threatening to create something with his twisting and turning. But as the Colombia international chose to square it to team-mate Ryan Gravenberch during one passage of play, it was enough to get Dominik Szoboszlai off his seat in expectation.
The Hungary captain was watching on from the bench having been withdrawn and as Gravenberch lined up a shot from about 25 yards, Szoboszlai leapt up in anticipation of the shot flying into the back of the net.
Unfortunately for Gravenberch, Szoboszlai and everyone connected to the Reds, the well-struck effort instead only struck a Brighton defender before it was cleared.
Szoboszlai had been the subject of debate earlier in the night for the goal he scored to make it 2-1 just before the half-time whistle. The ECHO was inclined to give the No.8 the benefit of the doubt but the player's face itself as the goal went in perhaps revealed he meant it as a cross.
"I am not sure if Dom meant the goal, you will have to ask him!" said Cody Gakpo. "It was an amazing goal."
Van Dijk ready for the party
For the first Premier League game of the season, Virgil van Dijk did not stop to speak to reporters after a match. Understandably, with the Dutchman having not featured, there was little to say from his perspective on the match, but itself, that didn't stop one hardy member of the press asking for his post-game thoughts.
Usually the first to front up, the Liverpool captain could only let out a laugh this time, reminding the person posing that question that he did not in fact play before offering an olive branch for Sunday at Anfield.
"I'll see you at the weekend, for the big party!"
It's going to be exactly like on Sunday. Unmissable.
