Manchester City have “made enquiries” for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, according to reports.
The Hungarian international has been linked with a move to Liverpool, but the I Paper claim that Pep Guardiola’s side are expected to challenge the Reds for the player’s signature.
Bournemouth have set Kerkez’s asking price at £45m and, while some fans on X believe the valuation is pretty steep, most agree that the defender would be a good addition to the squad:

Why do City want the fullback?
It looks as though Josko Gvardiol will be deployed as a centre-half going forward which means that the Cityzens need to recruit a specialist for the left-hand side of defence.
Nico O’Reilly has covered ably in recent weeks but his natural position is in the middle of the park, and he is unlikely to be converted into a fullback by Guardiola.
Are there alternatives to Kerkez?
Several left-backs have been linked with a switch to the Etihad Stadium in recent weeks. Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri is also said to be among the club’s shortlist of options. Director of Football Hugo Viana is reportedly a big fan of Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie as well.
Juventus’s Andrea Cambiaso is another possible target. The Italian international is two-footed but City’s interest in the player has cooled since the January transfer window. At the moment, Kerkez appears to be the favoured candidate.
