Golden State Warriors are reportedly targeting Boston Celtics guard Derrick White this offseason.
The Golden State Warriors will be one of the most intriguing teams to watch this offseason, as they approach what could be one of their final opportunities to build a championship-caliber roster around their aging superstar, Stephen Curry, who will turn 38 next season.

According to Logan Murdock of The Ringer, who appeared on The Lowe Post podcast with Zach Lowe, the Warriors have their sights set on acquiring one of the Boston Celtics’ key contributors, Derrick White, this offseason.
"Another guy that I think you should look at for the Warriors going forward is Derrick White," Murdock said on the Zach Lowe Show. "I think that’s something the Warriors are looking at right now."
White is coming off the best season of his NBA career, averaging 16.4 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.5 rebounds for the Celtics.
With a solid mix of playoff experience, elite defense, and dependable offensive production, White could provide a significant boost on both ends of the floor for Golden State.
However, acquiring him won't be easy. White is under contract with Boston through the 2027–28 season and holds a player option worth nearly $35 million for 2028–29. Given his value and team-friendly deal, the Celtics are unlikely to part ways with him without a substantial return.
