In a new episode of “Run It Back,” a debate unfolded that quickly gained steam online. Lou Williams posed the question directly: “Would you rather have Luka right now or Jalen Brunson?”
Without hesitation, DeMarcus Cousins leaned toward the Knicks star: “I’m gonna take Jalen Brunson… he’s still playing. It’s obvious. One guy is at home, the other’s playing.”
The moment stunned some given Doncic’s reputation, but Lou Williams agreed: “Yeah, I think I’m rolling with Brunson too.” Both cited the Knicks’ ongoing playoff push as a deciding factor. Doncic, whose Mavericks were eliminated in the regular season, has once again come up short of expectations despite his jaw-dropping talent.

Parsons fiercely disagreed with Boogie Cousins
Chandler Parsons was the lone voice of dissent in the group, pointing out that Doncic’s overall talent makes him nearly impossible to ignore.
Still, Cousins stood firm. “If we’re going with most overall talent, yeah, we can take Luka,” he admitted. “But right now, I’m going with the guy who’s still in the playoffs.”
