Tottenham Hotspur are showing an interest in appointing Brentford manager Thomas Frank this summer if they decide to sack Ange Postecoglou, according to Foot Mercato.
Although Tottenham have reached the Europa League final, where they will face Manchester United on Wednesday evening in Bilbao, their domestic season has been incredibly underwhelming. The north London club currently sit in 17th in the Premier League with just one game remaining.
While a finish as high as 14th is still possible if they secure three points and results go their way, it’s unlikely to gloss over a disastrous campaign. Postecoglou is understandably under pressure, and it will be interesting to see whether winning the Europa League would increase his chances of staying in charge.

GIVEMESPORT sources confirmed back in April that Frank was one of the names on Tottenham's shortlist to replace Postecoglou, and it appears that the north London club remain keen on the Brentford boss. Daniel Levy and his team have been succession planning ahead of a potential change of manager in the summer.
Postecoglou, despite enduring a disastrous season, was always likely to be given until the end of the campaign, with Spurs reaching the latter stages of the Europa League. Tottenham are now preparing for the final of the competition, where they will face Manchester United on Wednesday night.
It will be interesting to see whether Tottenham relieve Postecoglou of his duties if they fail to beat the Red Devils in Bilbao, as there's no doubt he's on thin ice heading into the final week of the season.
