Will Wade is clearly intent on adding at least one player with star quality to lead his team offensively, and also has the money to do it. Does he have the money to add both PJ Haggerty _and_ Darrion Williams, or is this an either/or situation? I have no idea! Just one of them would do plenty for the team’s outlook, while both, well, dare to dream, eh?
Williams is a tough, versatile player who helped Texas Tech get to the Elite Eight this spring, scoring 20 points or more in each of his team’s last three games. He can shoot the three, he rebounds well, he passes well, he’s a great free throw shooter—a top name in the portal for good reason, basically.
We already know he looks good in red.
