Everton are rolling into the new season on the back of a strong ending under David Moyes.
Goodison Park was given the send-off it deserved on the weekend with three points over Southampton at the Old Lady.
Moyes has been able to transform the fortunes on Merseyside since January with Premier League football secured weeks ago.
A number of managers have come and gone over recent years at Everton with Farhad Moshiri’s tenure seeing considerable manager turnover.
Sean Dyche recently commented on Moyes and the changes he has made since making his return to Everton.
Whereas, Sam Allardyce has now been discussing which fans were the best from his time in management.

Sam Allardyce rates Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham fans
Following his impressive start at Everton, Allardyce has praised Moyes for what he has also been able to do at West Ham.
The pair have both managed at Goodison Park and with the Hammers; who have endured a disappointing campaign.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Speaking to Tag Sports, Allardyce has shared which set of fans he feels were the loudest between Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham.
“I’d say all fans are passionate, but Newcastle, Everton, West Ham because they’ve got the biggest support,” he replied when asked which fans are the best.

“When you’ve got the biggest support, you’ve got the loudest noise and I managed West Ham at Wembley in the play-off final and there must have been 65,000 West Ham fans and only 20,000 Blackpool fans. That’s why you do it when you’re a player.”
Duncan Ferguson thinks Everton shouldn’t have sacked Allardyce but he is just one of many managers to come and go over recent years.
Under the Friedkins, fans will be hoping for much more stability and that does seem to be on offer with Moyes set to be financially backed this summer.
Everton could ruin Newcastle United’s Champions League hopes
The Toffees are not playing for much more than pride this weekend in their trip to Tyneside.
But Moyes will have his men out for three points and Everton’s away record has been really impressive under the 62-year-old.
Jordan Pickford said Newcastle fans give him the most grief of any other fans in the league.
Newcastle United, on the other hand, still have not confirmed their spot in the Champions League for next season.
Anything other than three points on the weekend for the Magpies could see them finish down in seventh spot.
Of course, other results would have to go against them, but Everton – and Pickford – will certainly be out to spoil the party.
