Loan move set for Manchester United midfielder

Manchester United are currently in a tricky situation headed into the summer transfer window.

With the intense financial pressures of the club, United are having to look to the development of their existing players, or make some major sales to generate funds and capacity to sign new stars.

As such, The Red Devils are looking at their options of developing some of the brightest prospects who are close to breaking through from the academy.

Already this season Tyler Fredricson, Harry Amass and Chido Obi have made their debuts, with several other stars on the brink of taking to the pitch for the senior squad.

However, that doesn’t mean a jump into the first squad is the most desirable move for development, especially as the trio have been called up to cover injuries.

Loan spells away from Old Trafford are a great interim way of giving youngsters a step into competitive senior football, without experiencing the pressures of the Premier League too soon.

Sekou Kone to head out on loan this summer

The Daily Mail has reported that The Red Devils are looking to send talented midfielder Sekou Kone out on loan for the entirety of next season to build up his experience.

United could be leaning into their ties through INEOS, with Swiss side Lausanne-Sport emerging as frontrunners to take the Mali international on loan.

It’s understood that teams from France and Belgium are also keen on taking on the defensive midfielder, however are keep to strengthen ties with Lausanne.

As such, Kone may not be headed to Switzerland alone, with new signing Enzo Kana-Biyik also likely to spend the season with the Swiss side.
