MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Two Memphis Grizzlies were named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team for the 2024-25 season.
Center Zach Edey and wing Jaylen Wells earned the nomination, revealed Tuesday.
It is the third time a pair of Grizzlies have made the team: Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke accomplished the feat in 2020 and Pau Gasol and Shane Battier in 2002.

Edey, a first-round pick, led all rookies in field goal percentage and rebounds while starting 55 games for the Grizz.
Wells, a second-round pick, finished third in Rookie of the Year voting. He led all rookies in three-pointers made and free throw percentage while starting in 74 games.
Wells and Edey are joined by Spurs guard Stephon Castle, Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher and Wizards center Alex Sarr on the First Team.
