Alejandro Garnacho praised four of his first-team Manchester United teammates ahead of the Red Devils’ 2025 Europa League final showdown with Tottenham.
Manchester United reached the Europa League final this season after the Red Devils knocked La Liga side Athletic Club out of the semi-finals of the tournament.
The Red Devils will travel to the San Mames Stadium – Athletic Club’s home stadium – on Wednesday evening for their encounter with Premier League rivals Tottenham.
Tottenham ensured their place in the Europa League final after Spurs secured wins both home and away against Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals.
Both United and Spurs must lift the Europa League trophy if either Premier League club wants to secure a place in the Champions League for the 2025-26 season.
The Red Devils under Ruben Amorim and Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou have both been in awful form in their respective 2024-25 Premier League seasons.
United languish in 16th place in the Premier League table and the Red Devils are only one point above 17th-place Tottenham ahead of the Europa League final.
Tottenham lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at Villa Park last Friday and United also suffered a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on the same day at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Alejandro Garnacho took part in a quick-fire Q&A around the Manchester United first-team squad in a segment with the Europa League’s TikTok account.
During the clip, the 20-year-old Spain-born attacker ranked Red Devils defender Diogo Dalot ahead of himself as the fastest player in Ruben Amorim’s United team.
Alejandro Garnacho revealed that struggling United striker Rasmus Hojlund would be the strongest player and fellow winger Amad Diallo is the most skilful Red Devils star.
The Argentina international was also asked about the United teammate who has the best football IQ and Garnacho settled on none other than captain Bruno Fernandes.

Speaking after United’s Premier League loss to Chelsea, Amorim insisted that the “change in mentality” in his squad is important for the Europa League final.
“Of course, we have to believe,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“I am really confident. I feel that my players are ready for this game.
“They know what it means, not just for us but for our fans and for the club. After this season, we are ready to fight for the one thing that can help us remember this season in a different way.
“So I am really confident. We are living a season that is really strange because we are doing so well in Europe but, in the Premier League, we struggle.
“But we will be prepared for the final. It’s a different context and a different game.
“The most important thing is the change in mentality in my team. They compete and that is the most important thing for me.”
United and Tottenham’s Europa League final showdown at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao is slated for an 8pm kick-off time in the UK.
