LeBron James gives an update on his knee injury recovery

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James revealed that he’s feeling significantly better following his MCL sprain in the playoffs against the Timberwolves.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James recently opened up about his recovery from a knee injury on the Mind the Game podcast.

In Game 5 of the first-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron suffered an MCL sprain, later revealing it being his first serious knee injury of his career.

Despite the setback, he appears to be healing well. When asked about his knee by the podcast’s co-host Steve Nash, LeBron gave an optimistic update.

"Did you see me limp in here?" LeBron said. "It’s been a hell of a lot better. It’s getting better."

LeBron is set to begin his 23rd NBA season next year and will turn 41 during the campaign, making injury management an increasingly important topic.

Last season, the four-time NBA MVP averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds—continuing to rank among the league’s elite players.
