Teddy Sheringham identifies the key players for Man Utd and Spurs in Europa League final
The all-English Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United will claim the attention of the footballing world on Wednesday, with no more eager an observer than Teddy Sheringham.
The retired striker was prolific in the early days of the Premier League, winning the Golden Boot in the league's inaugural season. Sheringham starred for both Spurs and the Red Devils during his career, and now he will be able to watch two of the clubs that he was most synonymous with battle for a European trophy.
When speaking to exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to PrimeCasino, Sheringham pointed out the players from each side that he believes will be key to success in Wednesday's final.

"Definitely Bruno Fernandes for Manchester United and probably Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero for Tottenham," Sheringham said.
"They've been such a miss for Tottenham, both being out so long. Van de Ven and Romero are the mainstasy of Tottenham's team really. That's where the solidity of the whole side comes from. So hopefully they'll be on top form.
"For United, Fernandes gives them a bit of everything. Passion, a bit of enthusiasm, leadership. You name it, he's got it. He's the only one that does seem to have it at Manchester United in any capacity over the course of the season."
