While Michail Antonio’s **West Ham** future remains uncertain, the Jamaican national team appear to have no such doubts.
Despite still recovering from a serious car accident, Antonio has been named in Jamaica’s 60-man provisional squad for the upcoming Concacaf Gold Cup, with head coach Steve McClaren suggesting the striker could also feature in the Unity Cup in London next week.

However, the club’s record Premier League goalscorer is believed to be holding out for a longer contract before proving his fitness—especially after many assumed the injury from his accident could be career-ending.
Antonio has 21 caps for Jamaica, scoring five goals, and remains a key part of their plans. His last international appearance came in a 0-0 draw with Honduras last October in the Concacaf Nations League.
The final Gold Cup squad will be confirmed on June 4, and although Antonio’s club future remains up in the air, he could yet make his international return before any contract resolution is reached at West Ham.
