NBA legend Magic Johnson has remained very much involved in the basketball world since his retirement. Recently, he has been very active on social media and revealing his predictions for playoff series as they come up.
Start tonight, the conference finals will begin. In the Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. On the Eastern Conference side of things, the New York Knicks face off against the Indiana Pacers.
Both conferences have elite matchups to watch. Johnson has now revealed what he expects to see happen and who will make it to the NBA Finals.
Johnson took to social media and most a post on X with his predictions. He believes the Thunder and Knicks will be the last two teams standing.
"I have the New Knicks beating the Indiana Pacers and the Minnesota Timberwolves beating the Oklahoma City Thunder to advance to the NBA Finals!" he wrote.
In each conference, he has the higher seed pulling out the win. However, the Timberwolves and Pacers will have something to say about this prediction.

Throughout the first two rounds of the playoffs, Minnesota took care of both the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors in just five games apiece. As for Indiana, the Pacers did the same against the Milwaukee Bucks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Oklahoma City barely survived a second-round scare against the Denver Nuggets. The Thunder were taken to a winner-take-all Game 7, but came out and won that game in dominant fashion. As the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, a loss would have been difficult to deal with.
New York, on the other hand, defeated the Detroit Pistons in six games in the first round. The Knicks then backed that up with a win in Game 6 to win their series against the Boston Celtics, who played both Game 5 and Game 6 without Jayson Tatum after he tore his Achilles.

It will be interesting to see if Johnson is correct with his predictions. Both series offer great teams facing each other, and all four teams have the talent to go on and win a championship.
Game 1 between the Thunder and Timberwolves will be played on Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m. ET. As for the Knicks and Pacers, they will play Game 1 on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET.
