Manchester City have taken a step closer to qualifying for the Champions League by running out 3-1 winners over Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Omar Marmoush opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 14th minute, firing an unstoppable rocket into the top corner from over 30 yards out.
Bernardo Silva then made it 2-0 with a composed finish on 38 minutes before substitute Nico Gonzalez wrapped up the points with a superb 89th-minute effort.
However, Daniel Jebbison netted an injury-time consolation for the Cherries when he made the most of some lacklustre City defending.
It was a game full of talking points, including Kevin De Bruyne making his final home appearance in a City shirt as fans lauded his efforts for the club.
There was also the return of Rodri after eight months on the sidelines and red cards for Mateo Kovacic and Lewis Cook in separate incidents.

Michael Owen says Omar Marmoush rocket is a Goal of the Season contender
Owen, speaking on Premier League Productions, admitted he cast his vote for Goal of the Season on Monday night.
He said he was “gutted” that the vote wasn’t delayed for a few more days, implying he would have considered voting for Marmoush’s effort.
Owen said: “I voted for my goal of the season yesterday. I’m gutted we didn’t delay it a couple of days as there might be another winner.”
Owen Hargreaves added: “Sometimes you hit a ball you just know. You just dream of [goals like that].”
Omar Marmoush’s great start to life at Manchester City
Marmoush joined Man City earlier this year, coming into a side going through one of their lowest periods in years.
But despite this, he has done enough to suggest he has a very bright future at the club.
Marmoush’s hat-trick against Newcastle – in only his third league game for City – had everyone talking.
And with just one game left this season, the £59million man has eight goals and three assists to his name in sky blue.
It’ll be exciting to see how Marmoush fares for the club after a summer break, a full pre-season under his belt, and more top signings coming on board.
