Manchester United could pay more than £21 million to purchase Lyon star Rayan Cherki during the summer transfer window, according to Le Progres.
The 21-year-old is one of the best playmakers in the French top-flight. He has decided to pursue a new challenge away from Les Gones this summer.
His current contract expires in June 2026, and interested clubs could sign him for just £21m.

Cherki would be a fabulous bargain signing
The Frenchman, who can play in attacking midfield or on the right wing, has had a tremendous season with Lyon.
He has registered 12 goals and 20 assists from 44 appearances in all competitions for his boyhood club.

As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, there is no official clause in Cherki’s contract. While £21m could be the starting price, Les Gones could sanction his sale to the highest bidder.
