It has been a busy day for the Antetokounmpo family on Tuesday.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo just announced his intention to return to basketball after missing the entire 2024-25 season due to an Achilles injury that he sustained in May 2024. The 32-year-old will now look to make his comeback after failing to secure a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks last season.
His younger brother, Giannis Antetokounmpo, on the other hand, is currently in San Francisco to attend a Google event. A video of the Bucks superstar hyping up a capacity crowd is currently making its rounds on social media as the former back-to-back MVP makes a public appearance amid all the talk surrounding his future in Milwaukee.
Fans could not help but notice that Antetokounmpo's event is in San Francisco, which is where the Golden State Warriors reside. The Warriors are one of the teams that have been heavily linked to the nine-time All-Star as Antetokounmpo reportedly figures out whether he wants to remain with the Bucks or jump ship.
It is worth noting, though, that Antetokounmpo has been a long-time endorser of Google, which also has its headquarters located in the Bay Area.

According to reports, the Bucks have already reached out to Antetokounmpo and have scheduled a meeting with their cornerstone superstar this week. The team is well aware of all the rumors surrounding Antetokounmpo, and they will likely want to settle the issue once and for all.
Antetokounmpo, 30, is currently under contract with the Bucks through 2028, with a player option in the final season of his deal. This means that the only way he leaves Milwaukee this summer is via a blockbuster and potentially landscape-shifting trade deal.
