Newcastle United, Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with the former Manchester City academy winger.
Jamie Gittens could leave Borussia Dortmund this summer after sporting director Sebastian Kehl hinted he is open to offers.
Gittens was born in England and spent time in the academies of Chelsea, Reading and Manchester City before moving to Dortmund in 2020.
Since making his first-team debut in April 2022, the 20-year-old has gone on to make over 100 appearances, though this season is his most productive to date with 12 goals and five assists.
Newcastle United scouts have watched Gittens in recent months as they target a new right forward this summer. The 20-year-old has predominantly played on the left this term but is comfortable on both flanks.
Borussia Dortmund open to selling Jamie Gittens - Newcastle United interested
But the Magpies aren’t the only Premier League club showing an interest; Chelsea and Arsenal are too. And it seems Kehl has given the green light to a potential exit as Dortmund look to trim their wage bill.
Speaking to Sport1 (via Daily Mirror), the BVB chief said: “There’s definitely a market for him. He’s a very exciting player. We’ll be having discussions soon. If offers come in, we’ll have to deal with them.
“We want to reduce wages. That said, it’s possible we’ll continue with some of these players. But some may no longer be part of the BVB squad next season.”
It’s widely reported that futures of Giovanni Reyna, Niklas Sule, Salih Ozcan, and Julian Brandt are also up in the air.
Newcastle United looking to sign a new right forward
Although Jacob Murphy has enjoyed the season of his career with nine goals and 14 assists, the January departure of Miguel Almiron to Atlanta United has left Murphy as the only recognised option as both Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes prefer to play on the left.

The Magpies have been linked with a few wingers already, including Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and AFC Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo. However, both are rumoured to cost £70m.
Eddie Howe teases big summer transfer window
Newcastle have resorted to selling rather than signing players in the last 18 months having come close to breaching Premier League Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
But having raised funds through selling Elliot Anderson, Yankuba Minteh, Almiron and Lloyd Kelly, Eddie Howe believes there is scope to strengthen his squad ahead of a potential return to the Champions League.
Howe said on Friday: "Regular success, consistent success, all these things help you in the journey that you're on to show to everybody that that's where the club's ambition is.
"There's no doubt that's what the club's ambition is. But of course, as we've said many times, the ability financially to compete the last few years has been hampered by PSR, but those issues aren't there for the coming window. So I don't see any reason why we can't strengthen, not weaken ourselves."
Howe’s side can seal Champions League qualification if they beat Everton at St James’ Park on the final day of the season this Sunday.
