Report: Nottingham Forest want 'lightning' 15-goal star available for £30m, Micah Richards says …

When it comes to qualifying for the Champions League, Nottingham Forest are still alive and kicking,

The Reds beat West Ham 2-1 at the London Stadium on Sunday to edge within a point of the top five and with Chelsea to face at the City Ground next weekend.

Forest won courtesy of Morgan Gibbs-White scoring for the second weekend running and Nikola Milenkovic, who grabbed a fifth of the campaign.

Once Sunday is out of the way, Forest will quickly switch their attention to next season and landing new players ahead of a campaign spent playing European football.

Nottingham Forest want Dusan Vlahovic

According to Give Me Sport, Vlahovic is on the list of targets for Forest as the club searches for more firepower in their attack next season.

Chris Wood has bagged 20 goals during 2024/25, but at 33-years-old, there is a sense that he will need some help when it comes to leading the line in four competitions next season.

Vlahovic has triggered a clause at Juventus that sees his wages tick over £315,000-a-week in Turin and the club will be willing to entertain offers when the transfer window reopens.

Vlahovic was called ‘world class’ by Vincenzo Italiano who is currently managing Bologna but has previously overseen some good work with Fiorentina.

Micah Richards is also a huge fan and back in 2021 he said: “I have watched him a couple of times now. He is lightning. It’s ridiculous. He has got 16 in 18 this season. His left foot is a wand. I am telling you now, he’s everything you need.”

Forest might be able to get the Serbian striker for less than £30 million this summer, such is the Old Lady’s desire to sell their striker before the new season gets underway.

Naturally, the wages being talked about will be tricky, but Forest might be able to thrash out terms on a lucrative contract that sees the player head to the Premier League.

Furthermore, Forest might have an ace in the pack when it comes to the negotiations with Vlahovic and Milenkovic starring on the international stage in the same Serbian team.

Vlahovic has played for Partizan, Fiorentina and Juventus during his career and has bagged 87 goals in 201 appearances during his time playing in Serie A.

At 25-years-old, Vlahovic has bags of time on his side and if Forest can get this one over the line, it would have to be viewed as a significant coup.
