**A “vital” Liverpool player is now believed to have held talks with a European giant over a summer move there, according to a new transfer claim.**
The 2024/25 Premier League season isn’t even finished yet and the Reds already threatening to complete some important transfer business.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, RB Leipzig and Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal are also mentioned as potential options for the 25-year-old.

Nunez is a popular figure at Liverpool, but he isn’t offering anywhere near enough to justify remaining at the club beyond this summer.

Nunez is now at the end of his third season as a Liverpool player, but even his most staunch supporter would struggle to say that he has improved as a player from when he first arrived in 2022.
If anything, he has become even less reliable in front of goal, clearly struggling for confidence, and he lacks the footballing intelligence of those around, not making the correct decisions often enough, both on and off the ball.
Nunez always gives his all, which is why so many fans like him, but this summer has to see him head off to pastures new, and Napoli could be ideal for him.
