Everton still need to make the final decisions on the future of their remaining players soon-to-be out-of-contract.
Having landed back on Merseyside in January, David Moyes was left with a lot of work to do at Goodison Park.
Not only did the Scot have to turn Everton’s results around, but he also faces the biggest summer transfer market in the club’s recent history.
The Friedkins are ready to back Moyes in the window, but considerable work needs to be done to improve the quality of the squad.
Some tough decisions have already been made when it comes to contracts.
Everton are allowing Abdoulaye Doucoure to leave the club at the end of his deal along with a number of other players.
There is one player who is yet to learn his fate, but it has been made clear his minutes could be further reduced if he is to stay.

Michael Keane handed Everton contract ultimatum
Ashley Young, Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia are leaving Everton after the club decided not to renew their deals.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
They are just some of the experienced players set to part ways on Merseyside this summer.
According to Team Talk, Michael Keane is still waiting to hear where his future lies with the Toffees ahead of the summer.
Everton duo Tarkowski and Pickford are both keen to sign new contracts and see out careers with #EFC, per reports.
Doucoure, meanwhile, seemed to wave goodbye when substituted yesterday.

However, the 32-year-old defender has been told if he does want to remain at the club for next season his minutes could be reduced even more.
Keane was criticised after replacing James Tarkowski just the other week against Manchester City.
The former England international was by no means a regular for the Toffees, but it seems his opportunities could become even more limited if he does stick around.
Everton are running out of time to make these decisions with just weeks remaining until the official close of the season.
Everton want to sign a new defender
Keane has interest from across the world going into this summer’s transfer window.
If the veteran defender is to leave, he could potentially wait to see his former club Burnley offer him a return following their promotion to the Premier League.
Regardless of where Keane’s future lies, Everton want to sign a new defender over the coming months.
This would surely put Keane even further back in the pecking order.
Although he could still remain, it does appear there is only one option for Keane this summer and that is to leave.
