Bayern Munich could be looking to sign a new defender in the summer window.
According to Foot Mercato, the Bundesliga champions have agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah.
Bayern are also keen to sign Tah’s club teammate Florian Wirtz, but getting him on board won’t be straightforward, with Liverpool vying for his signature.

Earlier this month, Christian Falk reported that Bayern made contact with Jonathan Tah through the defender’s agent, Pini Zahavi.
The Bavarians also shortlisted Dean Huijsen as a potential option, but he chose to join Real Madrid instead.

Tah is set to become a free agent in the summer. Bayern have offered him a four-year contract with an annual salary of around €12 million [£10.1m].
The player has accepted the offer, but Bayern have been kept waiting with Barcelona still not out of the picture.
The La Liga champions have also reached a verbal agreement with the 29-year-old centre-back, but talks have stalled due to financial reasons.
Several Premier League clubs are also vying for his signature, with Manchester United being heavily linked with a move.
Falk noted that the Red Devils could be a serious competitor for Bayern should they decide to join the race. Tah has never played outside Germany, and a move to the Premier League could attract him.
Jonathan Tah would be a smart signing for Bayern Munich
Tah is a highly experienced defender. He has made over 440 appearances in his career and knows the Bundesliga very well. In theory, he shouldn’t take time to settle down.
In terms of finance, the deal is a no-brainer. Getting a player of his quality for free is simply fantastic, and Bayern should look to convince him to join them ahead of other suitors.
The likes of Eric Dier and Kim Min-jae have struggled this season. Dier is set to join AS Monaco, and Min-jae could be sold as well, which means there is room for a new addition.

Whilst the German international has accrued a lower average rating than his South Korean counterpart, it won’t have gone unnoticed that the former appears a more reliable presence.
The former appears a calmer figure both on the ball and against it, which is exactly the kind of authority Bayern need to inject into their backline.
Tah would represent a terrific piece of business for Bayern, but they need to be wary of Premier League threats, especially from Manchester United.
