Anthony Edwards' Behavior During Blowout Loss in Game 1 is Turning Heads

The Oklahoma City Thunder sent a clear message on Tuesday night as they took out the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. It wasn't just any win for the No. 1 seed Thunder either, as they destroyed the Wolves in a 114-88 blowout to draw first blood in the series.

It was far from a spectacular performance from Anthony Edwards, who was held to 18 points on 5-of-13 shooting. He also tallied nine rebounds, three assists, and four turnovers in 37 minutes.

It was a disappointing evening for the three-time All-Star, and Edwards didn't even wait until the final buzzer before deciding to leave the court. The Wolves star was seen heading to the locker room in the final seconds of the game.

Edwards, however, still took the time to remove his jersey and give it to a young fan sitting courtside.

Edwards' behavior quickly turned heads on social media, drawing all sorts of reactions from the fans.

"Zero points In 4th qt !! Need to step it up Ant 🐜" a comment on X read.

"gotta bounce aint no shame in that," said another.

"Anthony got cooked this game," reacted a user.

"Edwards is coming hard in Game 2," predicted a fan.

"For the love of the game, nice gesture," another wrote.

"Classy move," a reaction read.

Edwards knows that he has to be better in Game 2 if he wants this series to be tied at 1-1 before it shifts to Minnesota for Games 3 and 4.

The Wolves aren't exactly in a must-win situation on Thursday for Game 2, but Edwards and Co. will be out for some revenge after being embarrassed on Tuesday night.
