Talks could soon open with the La Liga giants after the Liverpool forward reportedly agreed on personal terms for a move to Spain.
After winning their 20th English Premier League title in club history, the Reds are already suffering a major blow with star right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold set to leave for Real Madrid this summer.
The current Premier League champions have also extended Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah’s contract until 2027, though he too was close to leaving at the start of the season.
Now, Liverpool could lose another forward, as per the latest report by MM Talavera.

Darwin Nunez has agreed personal terms with Atlético Madrid
The Uruguayan forward has been a first-team player for the Reds since the 2022/23 season, scoring 25 goals in three seasons for the club.
Despite being given plenty of chances as the first-choice centre-forward, Darwin couldn’t consistently deliver what was expected from him.
Atletico Madrid are now expected to begin formal talks with Liverpool soon. The Reds might demand a fee in the region of €45 million for the striker.
Nunez also fits well into Diego Simeone’s setup, and with Atletico looking for a new forward, this move could work well for both clubs.
Darwin Nunez’s path to Spain may take time, but what do you think Reds? What would be the right price to sell him?
