Liam Delap asks for Newcastle United transfer conditions and Bruno's Saudi link explained

Ipswich Town's English midfielder #19 Liam Delap (L) vies with Newcastle United's English defender #33 Dan Burn

Newcastle United are expected to be in the conversation for £30million striker Liam Delap this summer after his representatives compiled a list of clubs who have expressed an interest in his signature.

However, a lot rests on what will be a pulsating final day of the Premier League season while the result of tonight's Europa League final is also a factor. Newcastle are on a list of clubs that also includes Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.

It is believed that Delap wants to sign for a club who are going to be playing Champions League football next season. Newcastle will look to make sure they are doing just that by beating Everton on Sunday at St James' Park.

Delap is eyeing £120,000 to £150,000 per week which would put him up there as one of Newcastle's top earners. The conclusion of the season will soon see transfer activity ramped up in the Premier League with the window swinging open on June 1.

Bruno Guimaraes' agent in Saudi Arabia

Talk of Al-Ittihad being interested in signing Bruno Guimaraes has been cooled by United sources after the star's agent was spotted in Saudi Arabia.

Bruno's agent and close friend Alexis Malavolta was pictured at Al-Ittihad sparking a reaction on social media. However, Malavolta was there as a guest of PIF who also own Al-Ittihad.

Malavolta works for Bertolucci Sports who represent a host of top players including Marquinhos of PSG, Gabriel at Arsenal and Douglas Luiz of Juventus. There has also been reports that Bruno has started to discuss a contract extension with Newcastle in the past week or so - which was played down by those close to him.

Bruno is tied down until 2028 after agreeing an extension in October 2023 but he remains committed to the black and white cause.

Magpies have competition for Norwegian wonderkid

Chronicle Live reported on March 13 that United had checked out 18-year-old Norway wonderkid Sindre Walle Egeli. The teenager continues to be monitored by Newcastle's scouts in Scandinavia, but there is serious competition for his services.

His club, Nordsjælland, wants £ 12.6 million for the youngster, and an enquiry went in this week from Lille in France. The right winger has grabbed nine goals and made eight assists in 32 games this term in Norway's top division.

Feyenoord had a £12m offer turned down for the youngster back in January, but there are expected to be add-ons in any package that sees him leave Norway this summer. It could cost close to £20m in total to lure him to the bright lights of the Premier League, Ligue 1 or Serie A.

The other side showing a big interest in the forward, who can operate on the left too, is Atalanta in Italy.
