The wait is almost over as Liverpool's Premier League parade is just days away. The bank holiday Monday extravaganza will see the city turned into a sea of red, with hundreds of thousands of people expected to attend.

The Reds clinched the Premier League title in style at a jubilant Anfield with a thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last month. Since then, excitement has been building for the momentous celebrations that see the club mark its historic 20th English league title.

Although the festivities officially begin on Monday, May 26, celebrations will undoubtedly continue all weekend, especially on Sunday with the trophy lift.

With this in mind, here’s everything you need to know about the Liverpool FC parade:

The parade route will start at Allerton Maze and will travel northbound on Queens Drive towards the Fiveways roundabout and the Rocket flyover.

From there, it will journey along:

Queens Drive

Mill Bank

West Derby Road

Islington

Leeds Street

The Strand

Route finishes at Blundell Street

The 15 km-long parade is expected to last three to five hours, but this is subject to change. It's expected to begin at 2.30 pm.

There are no dedicated viewing areas, but there will be animation across the route this year.

LFC’s official social media channels (@LFCHELP) will keep you up to date with everything you need to know.

How to watch LiverpooL FC parade from home

If you are unable to attend the parade, you can also watch it live across LFC’s platforms, including LFCTV GO, YouTube, Facebook, X and TikTok. Fans can also watch live on LFCTV on Sky channel 423 or Virgin Media channel 544 in the UK.

Parade road closures

The Strand will be closed northbound from the Upper Parliament Street/Great George Street junction to Leeds Street/Great Howard Street junction from 4 am to 10 pm, or until it is safe to re-open.

The southbound lane will be closed from approximately 12 pm to 8 pm, again subject to crowd safety requirements. Additionally, Leeds Street City-bound will be closed from 12 pm until approximately 8 pm.

Parking for Liverpool parade

A council spokesperson said: "We strongly advise people not to drive—particularly into the city centre—and ask fans to walk and try to view the parade as close to home as possible."

There will be no toilets along the route.

Flares, pyrotechnics and drones at Liverpool parade

The use of flares, pyrotechnics, or anything similar is strictly prohibited. The use of pyrotechnics poses a risk of injury to fellow fans and serious health risks. No drones are allowed on the parade route, and any unauthorised drones will be removed.
