Lewis O’Brien joined Swansea City on loan from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.
The midfielder impressed for the Swans in the second half of the season, playing 16 times in the Championship and scoring one goal.
It now seems as if Swansea are looking to keep Lewis O’Brien at the club beyond this season, but the Nottingham Forest player is also attracting attention from Spain.
El Desmarque report Valencia are interested in the 26-year-old and are looking to bring him to the Mestalla on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
The outlet believe Swansea City are ‘in love’ with O’Brien and want to extend his stay but no decision has been made by Nottingham Forest.
The Tricky Trees’ asking price is currently unknown but the presence of Los Che boss Carlos Corberan can be vital for Valencia. The Spaniard has previously worked with O’Brien during his time at Huddersfield Town and there is hope for a reunion.
The ex-Middlesbrough player also got married in the city, according to the report, and this could prove to be a positive for Valencia.
