Leeds United have been handed a massive opportunity to sign a long-standing transfer target, Dinamo Zagreb’s Martin Baturina.
Daniel Farke and Leeds have a few months now to get their transfers lined up in order to hit the ground running in the Premier League.
Despite scoring 95 goals and creating chances at will in the Championship, Leeds will require an attacking midfield signing to enhance the side’s ability to cut through top flight defences.

Leeds United ‘tried’ to sign Dinamo Zagreb attacking midfielder Martin Baturina this season
Back in the summer window, it was surprisingly reported in Croatian outlet Sportske.jutarnji that Leeds had seen a £25million bid accepted for Dinamo Zagreb’s star attacking midfielder Martin Baturina.

The 22-year-old has been a shining light in Dinamo’s side again this season, battling in vain to help them qualify for the Champions League knockouts, while registering an impressivesix goals and 12 assists in all competitions this season.
Sky Sports Germany previously reported that the attacking midfielder has turned down the opportunity to speak to Real Madrid, in favour of pursuing a move where he willbe playing regular football next season.

Fabrizio Romano opens door for Leeds United to make huge summer transfer move
Now, Fabrizio Romano’s latest ipdate may have opened the door wide for Leeds to chase a move to sign Baturina after around a year of supposed interest.
He claims that Dinamo Zagreb are willing to let the 22-year-old leave this summer, with an asking price of €20-25million (£16.9-21.1million) set:
“Understand Martin Baturina’s expected to leave Dinamo Zagreb this summer for potential transfer fee around €20/25m,” Romano writes.
“English and Italian clubs in addition to Eintracht Frankfurt have already made contact over potential move.”
Already, there has been contact from unnamed English and Italian clubs for the playmaker, alongside Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.
Should Leeds be interested in signing the Croatian midfielder, it appears as though a deal won’t cost a great deal at all to secure.
