Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold has been a big topic of discussion within English football over recent weeks.
The right-back has opted to leave the Merseyside club to pursue a new challenge at Real Madrid next season, and that has resulted in the defender receiving backlash from Reds supporters.
Change is also coming to Man City this summer as Pep Guardiola looks to add four or five new faces to his squad, while some big names will be shown the exit door.
There is one star within City’s squad that looks certain to be at a new club next season, and Gary Neville has warned him to be careful about leaving, while also suggesting he should take a leaf out of Alexander-Arnold’s book.

Gary Neville suggests Jack Grealish should leave the Premier League
This season has been a tough one for Jack Grealish, with the winger falling down the pecking order in Pep Guardiola’s squad, evident in the six minutes of action the Man City star received against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
The City boss never used the 29-year-old during the FA Cup final at the weekend, and while speaking about this on the latest episode of Stick To Football, Neville suggested that Grealish should now consider playing abroad.
More Man City News
“I think he has got to be careful about leaving because where does he go to?” Neville said about Grealish’s situation. “I think he has got to fight his way back into it.
“I would go abroad if I were Jack. I’d go abroad, I would play a different type of football. You know what I said about Trent (Alexander-Arnold) a few weeks ago about does he feel appreciated in this country.
“Jack might feel the same way and think, ‘I need to go to Italy or Spain or Germany. Go and play abroad. He probably feels a lack of love and players like that need loving.”
Grealish is loved within the Man City dressing room and will find it hard to walk away from the Manchester club, as he is happy with the Premier League giants.
However, the winger will need minutes if he hopes to play at the 2026 World Cup with England, and there are clubs abroad that can offer him that opportunity.

The foreign clubs that are interested in Jack Grealish
There are several clubs in England interested in Grealish this summer, as Aston Villa, Tottenham and Newcastle are all keen on giving the winger a chance; however, sticking with Neville’s suggestion, there are clubs abroad that would also be open to giving the Man City star an opportunity.
The one that is most likely to interest Grealish is AC Milan, as the Italian giants are keen to strengthen their squad for the 2025/26 campaign after experiencing a tough season this time around.
Another option for the winger is Saudi Arabia, as several clubs in the country would be open to adding the England international to their squads, but that is unlikely to interest the 29-year-old as it will not help his chances of going to the World Cup.
More clubs may come calling for Grealish over the coming weeks as it becomes clearer what the winger wants to do, with this summer now being a crucial one for the career of the Man City star.
