Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo is not on AS Roma’s list of managerial targets, and Lina Souloukou’ s recent appearance in Rome has nothing to do with a potential move.
That’s [according to Gazzetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Roma/21-05-2025/roma-1.shtml?refresh_ce), who report that at Roma ‘they swear’ there is nothing going on with the Nottingham Forest boss.
Espirito Santo has been linked with the Roma job this week amid reports that he is set to leave Nottingham Forest after a falling out with Evangelos Marinakis. Roma need a new manager to replace Claudio Ranieri once he heads back to retirement.
Gazzetta, though, insist that there is nothing going on with Roma. In fact, the Italian club are swearing as much when asked about it. They’re insistent he isn’t on their list of candidates.
Furthermore, the sighting of Souloukou in Roma is unrelated to the issue of their coach. She is simply visiting the city as her husband and children still live and study in the city in the house she has there. The trip has been to deal with school matters.
The issue of the next Roma coach is yet to be resolved, and the next few days will be decisive but Roma are insistent that they’re not chasing the Nottingham Forest manager in any capacity.
