A pub located on the route of the Liverpool FC Premier League parade has issued a strict warning to customers. Liverpool will lift the Premier League trophy after the final game of the season against Crystal Palace at Anfield this Sunday (May 25). Their victory parade will take place the following day.

The Reds were confirmed as champions following a 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last month. The club, Liverpool City Council and businesses along the route have been busy making preparations for the event ever since.

The victory parade route will start at Allerton Maze and will travel northbound on Queens Drive towards the Childwall Fiveways roundabout and Rocket flyover. From there the bus will go along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strand before finishing at Blundell Street.

One popular spot to watch the parade from will be The Jolly Miller pub. Located on Mill Lane, the bus will go right past as it travels along Queens Drive.

For previous parades, those at The Jolly Miller junction could be heard before they could be seen from the parade's convoy of support vehicles. There is a large beer garden at the front of the pub.

The Jolly Miller has created an event for the parade on its Facebook page. There will be free entry on the day and walk-ins only. The event will last from 1pm to 10pm with live music from Craig Burns, Gary Whelan, Sienna Hughes, David Blanchard, Jamie Duke and DJ Lula B.

Food will also be available. A message from the pub about the event said: “We’ve got an amazing event planned for the day of the Liverpool champions parade through Liverpool.

“Get ready for a day filled with incredible DJ sets, a variety of bars to grab a drink, and a yummy barbecue on the go. We’d love for you to join us at the Jolly Miller Pub for a fantastic party!”

However, The Jolly Miller has also informed customers that anyone who sets flares off on the pub’s land will be thrown out. The pub said: “The use of flares and pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited on the day of the parade, May 26 2025.

“Any individual found in possession of flares or pyrotechnics will be promptly removed from the premises. Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely, Jolly Miller team.”

There are several pubs along the parade route fans can visit on the day, one of which is The Stag and Rainbow on the other side of the road.

The Baltic Fleet in Liverpool city centre has also issued a request for those visiting to be kind and respectful to staff. You can see the full list of pubs on the route here.

The route is 15km long and the advice is to use the length of the route. There are no dedicated viewing areas but there will be animation across the route this year.

A council spokesperson said: "We are not able to provide specific accessible viewing areas, but have made it a long route to allow as many people as possible to watch it.

"We recommend those uncomfortable in large crowds choose a quieter location along the route which is away from major landmarks, or choose a wider street where there is more space to move around."

People are strongly advised to stay local if they can and walk or cycle if possible. If you are using public transport, please check the latest timetables and allow more time.

Liverpool Football Club is covering the costs of the parade. If you are unable to attend the parade you can also watch it live across LFC’s platforms including LFCTV GO, YouTube, Facebook, X and TikTok.

Fans can also watch live on LFCTV on Sky channel 423 or Virgin Media channel 544 in the UK. The ECHO will be providing live updates throughout the day on our website and social media pages.
