Fabrizio Romano names the club who are 'ready' to sign Man City's Kevin De Bruyne if he says…

With only one game left to go before Kevin De Bruyne bows out as a Manchester City player, it is time for the midfield maestro to decide his future.

The Belgian skipper has a tough decision on his hands as his footballing life has revolved around the Etihad Stadium for the past 10 years.

However, David Silva and Carlos Tevez’s success stories at Real Sociedad and Juventus respectively after departing Manchester City would have inspired Kevin De Bruyne.

As Vincent Kompany stated, De Bruyne is a “legend” and despite being 33, several clubs across world football would love to have the honour of bringing him through their doors.

One of them is Chicago Fire, who are interested in De Bruyne as their marquee signing.

In Europe, Napoli are interested in signing De Bruyne as well and in the past, several players who have been on the wrong side of 30 have found a new lease of life by playing in Serie A.

Speaking of Napoli, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Antonio Conte’s side are ready to sign the six-time Premier League winner: “Kevin De Bruyne will make decision soon on his next club. Napoli have made important contract proposal to KDB — and they’d be ready to close the deal any moment from now.”

What Napoli boss Antonio Conte has already said about De Bruyne

If De Bruyne did make a move to Napoli, he would be reunited with Romelu Lukaku, who is one of his closest friends in football.

Furthermore, the decorated creator would have the chance to fight for trophies, with the Italian giants three points away from winning Serie A next weekend.

On the other hand, playing in the United States would be a refreshing experience for De Bruyne, who is interested in Chicago Fire’s project.

The good news for De Bruyne is that Antonio Conte is a huge admirer of his, having sang his praises in 2017.

Conte revealed, during his time at Chelsea, as quoted by The Guardian: “I don’t know, honestly, what happened in the past [and why Chelsea sold De Bruyne].”

“But for sure we are talking about a top player, the complete player. He’s good – technical, fast, and he works hard for his team. He is the complete player.”
