Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has provided a one-word response to Andy Robertson following his emotional farewell. The Scotland captain became the first within the Reds squad to pencil a goodbye message to the departing full-back ahead of his summer exit.
The 26-year-old will officially become a two-time Premier League-winning defender on Sunday upon the conclusion of the Reds' showdown with Crystal Palace. The FA Cup winners travel to Anfield, in a dress rehearsal for August's Community Shield, to bring the curtain down on a superb campaign for Arne Slot and Liverpool.
But the encounter also poses as the final match for Alexander-Arnold, who will leave Liverpool upon the expiry of his contract in June.

Alexander-Arnold shared the post from his teammate to his Instagram story and captioned his response: "Wingmen (red heart emoji)."
It comes after their blossoming partnership during the Reds' rise under Jurgen Klopp, with the pair contributing key assists throughout the successful period during the German's tenure.
Both Alexander-Arnold and Robertson rewrote the history books for full-backs, breaking records for assists from their position.

With the England international's exit looming, Robertson penned a heartfelt message to a player he previously described as one of his best friends.
"My brother, where to even start! It has been an absolute privilege watching you grow from a boy to a man over these last 8 years," Robertson wrote on Wednesday afternoon.
"You have won it all and created amazing memories along the way.
"I want to thank you for constantly pushing me to new limits and setting the bar so high that I had no choice but to follow.
"You are going to be a huge miss around the training ground and an even bigger miss on the pitch.
"I hope all the hard work you have put into this club, the moments you have given us and the massive contribution you have made are recognised as they should be..... Wingmen one last time."
The reaction to Alexander-Arnold's imminent exit has divided the fanbase and during the penultimate home league game against Arsenal, he was subjected to boos and jeers from sections of Anfield.
As a result, the reaction from those Liverpool supporters sparked anger from fractions of the media, including Jamie Carragher, who expressed his unhappiness at the incident.
