Change is coming to Manchester City this summer.
The 2024/25 campaign has been a tough one for Pep Guardiola’s squad as Man City have gone from winning four Premier League titles in a row to battling for a place in next season’s Champions League with one game to go.
This is a result of several factors, as City rested on their laurels last summer by not refreshing their squad, which was made worse after Rodri suffered a long-term knee injury at the start of the campaign.
Guardiola will not want to experience a campaign like this again, and therefore, the legendary coach will make some big changes at the Etihad Stadium this summer, which could see a popular member of the City dressing room leave.

Richard Keys suggests Jack Grealish should consider Man United move
Jack Grealish is believed to be happy at Man City, but the winger will not be content with the number of minutes he has been getting in recent weeks, with the six minutes he got against Bournemouth on Tuesday night being his only bit of action across the last five Premier League games.
Chris Sutton stated that Grealish was not smiling coming on against the Cherries, and with the 29-year-old expected to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer, Richard Keys has suggested that the Englishman consider a move to Manchester rivals Man United.
More Man City News
The presenter posted an article from The Mirror on his X account, which named five clubs interested in the Man City star this summer, with the teams being Aston Villa, AC Milan, Fenerbahce, Al Hilal and Arsenal.
Keys would write alongside that: “Mmmmmm. There’s one missing from this list. One, maybe a bit closer to home.”
With Aston Villa already named in the article, this hints at Man United, as the Red Devils are the closest club to his current home in Manchester.
This is a move that is very unlikely to happen as Grealish has many options this summer, therefore, the winger will not want to ruin his reputation with City supporters.
What clubs are really interested in Jack Grealish
In an ideal world, Grealish wants to stay at Man City, but that seems unlikely as the winger has fallen down the pecking order massively at the Manchester club.
With the 2026 World Cup taking place next summer, the 29-year-old needs to be playing regular football if he wants to be on the plane, and several clubs are offering him that chance.
His former club, Aston Villa, are keen on bringing the Englishman back to Birmingham, while Tottenham and Newcastle have looked before, and there are clubs abroad who admire him, with AC Milan being among the interested parties.

Jack Grealish’s career at Man City
Saudi Arabian clubs are also an option for Grealish; however, that move is unlikely to help his World Cup chances as the level is a lot lower than what is required to play at the sport’s biggest competition.
This summer is a huge one for the 29-year-old as the next club he chooses will dictate how the remainder of his career pans out.
