West Ham look to have a replacement option for Alphonse Areola prepared ahead of the summer window.
The Hammers have had a difficult season across the board, with the goalkeeper department not immune to criticism.
This has often seen Lukasz Fabianski utilised in between the sticks, but with the Pole departing a the end of his contract, Areola will be the only senior keeper remaining in E20.
With that being said, a deal could already be in the pipeline with the summer looming at the London Stadium.

The France international has had such an up-and-down career in East London, which makes him difficult to assess as the go-to number one.

This has seen him put in stellar performances, such as against Manchester United, where the 32-year-old made a number of top saves while keeping a clean sheet.
But in typical fashion, the ex-PSG man dropped a clanger and cost the Irons a goal with a dreadful pass from the back against Nottingham Forest.
At some stage, this could become too much for Graham Potter to deal with, especially with the transfer window just weeks away from opening.

This is especially likely to be the case as Fabianski looks set to leave, with Martin Allen suggesting that a replacement is already lined up ready for the summer.
Speaking exclusively to West Ham Zone, Allen said: “I’ll be shocked and surprised if West Ham don’t buy a number one goalkeeper.
“I think it’s been much needed for a couple of seasons now; I’m sure there must be someone lined up ready to come in to be number one.
“It will put pressure on Areola if someone else comes in because he was given the chance, and he hasn’t done enough.
“*They may even be looking to move him on and promote from within the club to become number two.*“

Areola set to be replaced at West Ham
There is no surprise that the Irons would be keen on finding a safe pair of hands to help push them up the table next season.
That could see a number of options be assessed, with Aaron Ramsdale potentially being one after being previously linked with an East London move.
As competition for Areola, the England international could prove to be a positive option, especially after Southampton were relegated from the Premier League.
It will certainly be interesting to see what the Irons do in the summer and what difference Potter can make ahead of his first full season in charge.
