Official: Endrick out of the FIFA Club World Cup with hamstring injury

Real Madrid have published a medical report on Endrick, who suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday’s match in Sevilla and will miss the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

After the tests carried out today on our player Endrick by the Medical Services of Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the combined tendon of the hamstrings in his right leg. Awaiting further evaluation.

This is very bad news for Endrick and Real Madrid, as the young Brazilian forward could’ve played some minutes during the tournament. Now, he will have to miss the Club World Cup and then wait for the pre-season stage to start working under soon-to-be new coach Xabi Alonso.

Hamstring injuries are always very tricky, so Endrick will need to take a cautious approach with his recovery in order to avoid setbacks when he’s cleared to play during the summer.
