Vitor Pereira will expect to be backed this summer, and his transfer ambitions may have just been boosted by Wolves’ Black Country rivals, West Brom.
Attacking reinforcements seem to be a priority for Pereira, with Wolves linked with the likes of Tammy Abraham.
Pablo Sarabia’s departure also creates a further need for reinforcements out wide, especially with Rayan Ait-Nouri linked to Liverpool.
In terms of possible summer recruits, West Brom’s Grady Diangana seems to be on Wolves’ radar – a potential move that has just been made a whole lot easier for Fosun.

Wolves target Grady Diangana released by West Brom
Wolves’ links with Diangana first surfaced back in May 2024, but the club opted to sign Rodrigo Gomes and Carlos Forbs instead.
12 months on, it now seems like Wolves will be able to sign the attacker without even having to pay a transfer fee.
That is because West Brom have decided to release the DR Congo international following the expiration of his deal, leaving the 27-year-old as a free agent ahead of next season.

West Brom’s decision to release the attacker may have potentially saved Wolves millions, with Fosun now able to sign the former West Ham player on a free this summer.
Wolves should avoid Diangana signing this summer
A free transfer will no doubt be tempting to the Wolves hierarchy, but they would be wise to pass on Diangana this summer.
Following a breakout campaign in 2020, the 27-year-old has since failed to really live up to the standards that were expected of him, becoming a bit part player for the Baggies this campaign.
Grady Diangana Championship stats Apps (starts) Goals Assists
24/25 34 (14) 4 3
23/24 36 (29) 7 8
Stats correct as of 21/05/2025
Diangana’s numbers suggest he is a very sound Championship player, but his stats don’t give any indication of him being able to make the step up to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old has also been linked with an MLS switch, and it would be best for Wolves to let him head stateside this summer.
