Nick Cushing’s side adapted well to the format of the seven-a-side competition to collect our first point as we eye a place in the knockout stage on Friday.
The Blues collected the impressive victory thanks to goals from Aoba Fujino, Kerolin Nicoli (two) and Aemu Oyama in Estoril, Lisbon.
Japan forward Fujino opened the scoring with a drilled effort from the edge of the area before the Brazil international doubled our lead shortly after.
We then carried our two-goal lead into the second half before Kerolin Nicoli weaved into the Rosengard box and coolly dispatched.
Oyama then added the gloss to a fine performance with a fine effort after skipping past her marker and slotting home.
