Ruben Amorim has drawn the fury of Manchester United fans with his team selection for the Europa League final.
The Red Devils are back in the Basque Country as they aim to win turn around a poor season with a major trophy success in 'Sunny Spain'. And standing in their way is Tottenham Hotspur also looking for some gloss on a forgettable campaign.
Amorim stunned fans as he named Mason Mount in the starting side. The injury-ravaged midfielder has had a stop start to his career in Manchester, but Amorim has named him among the starters for the biggest game of their season
Former Chelsea star Mount will start in the middle with Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro, while Rasmus Hojlund and Amad Diallo will lead the line. A back three of Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro, with Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui at wing back, plus Andre Onana in goal, completes the starting XI.
However, some United fans were furious with line-up, claiming they were "doomed" as a result of the Portuguese manager's team selection.

"Luke Shaw and [Mason] Mount we are doomed," one fan sighed. While a second said: "Mount for what exactly? This guy has ruined us..."
"Ruben is trying so hard to accommodate Mason Mount in the team," a third fumed. "He should’ve gone straight with the Casemiro/Ugarte partnership right away. He will try fix that with a sub in the second half which will be wasting a sub that would have been avoided..."
Another fan raged: "Mazraoui wing back and Hojlund ST. Yeah we’re done." And a fifth simply replied with crying eyes emojis.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in Europe this season, and will be hoping, despite, Amorim's squad selection, they can continue that record in Bilbao.
However, even if United lose on Wednesday, Amorim is convinced his job is safe. He said: "It’s a good thing for me – I never worry about that," he told the press ahead of the match.
"That is a part of being a coach. And the most important thing, I know what I’m doing. I explained everything before we start, I explain about the storm [that would come].
“I explain all the problems that we have to the board. I explained that I will not change my idea. So they cannot say one thing that I said to get the job and then I change my mind.

"It was the opposite. The board can understand that, the fans can understand that.”
United have endured a record worst Premier League season and lie 16th in the table, just one place above their opponents Tottenham, who have also had a wretched domestic campaign.
